Big Moves companies are based in San Francisco, Boston, and New York, which means wherever you are, we can get there!
Big Moves houses companies in contemporary (modern) dance, hip hop, jazz/ musical theater, and bellydance, and we are
available for performances and residencies locally, nationally and internationally. We also have a growing roster of
size-diverse artists in other genres, including spoken word and live music. Talk to us about performance packages in
modern only, musical theater only, or a mixed-genre revue format. Beginning in December of 2007, the original dance
musical, Lard, will be available for touring.

Education
Invite Big Moves dancers and staff to your school, dance studio, movement program, or department, and learn how to make
your program more accessible for Every Body!
Big Moves trainings are designed for instructors, studio owners, program administrators, and service providers of movement
and dance programs for youth. Choose the training that best meets your needs:
- 3-hour sessions: a succinct mix of presentation, discussion, and interactive games introduce the concepts and offer
quick yet powerful options for change
- 1-day intensives: more role-playing and group discussion make this the right choice for in-depth exploration and team-building around the issues
- private consultations: a carefully designed program of trainings, discussion groups, and/or site visits, ideal for
particularly challenging or total-overhaul situations
Our material is applicable to a wide range of environments, including:
-
Dance studios, after-school programs, health clubs, summer camps, sports leagues, school dance and PE departments, boys and
girls clubs, Girl Scout or Brownie troops
